The Arcadian

The Arcadian first started playing together as a band in 2006, with SHAH ALAM LIFE TRIBUTE (SALT) 2006 as the first ever event performed together. Formerly known as ISCA, they have recently formed this band with many of the musicians from the previous band. The Arcadian consists of female vocalist Juanita, Shaun and Rakesh on guitars, Daniel on bass, keyboardist Ian and Aaron on the drums. Ever since 2006, the band has played for many church events and also performed at several events in schools and colleges. The different taste of music among the band members proved to be one of the band’s strong points, allowing a variety of music to be played, suiting different crowds at different events. With the amount of chemistry among band mates (the “smartness” of Daniel, Shaun’s undying character, rather sacarstic facial expressionist, Rakesh, the jovial and smiley Juanita, quiet dude Ian and random drummer guy Aaron ), The Arcadian’s performance will surely grab your full attention. Rakesh the guitarist said, “We’ve come a long way since SALT 06 and we will definitely put on a good show for the fans out there”. “That’s if you have any fans”, joked Aaron, band drummer.
